WiFi Troubleshooting
Availability
The free WiFi is unavailable between 6am and 3:15pm Monday - Friday.
The service is limited to 30Mbps down and 10Mbps up. This is sufficient for high quality streaming and video conferencing, as well as web browsing etc.
Connecting
The hall offers free WiFi throughout the building, please join your device to the "Henley Memorial Hall Free WiFi" network.
Your device will likely popup a message stating that you need login to complete the process of connecting to the WiFi, click on this to go through to the WiFi login capture page, you need to check the box that you agree to terms and conditions, and then Login.
If you do not see the login page, open your browser and navigate to a site such as http://henleymemhall.co.uk or http://bbc.co.uk or similar webpages. (try typing the http://)
Google and other large sites will not work until you agree to the Ts&Cs. They will block the attempted redirect to the login page.
Once you have agreed to the Ts&Cs and clicked login, you will remain connected for upto 7 days without being re-prompted.
Please disable "MAC Address Spoofing" (sometimes referred to as MAC Randomisation) - as this may prevent you access and lead to frustration of having to re-authenticate more often. See this guide: https://eyenetworks.no/en/mac-randomization/
If you are having trouble connecting - try disabling any third party DNS services, or VPN, and try to load a different website in browsers.
If you see a "certificate error" when first trying to load a webpage, this is likely because you are being redirected to this page, please proceed to load the page.
